devil’s food whoopie pie comes from family circle magazine

and I’ve found that people LOVE the peanut butter buttercream way better than the filling from family circle.

Salty Peanut Butter Buttercream comes from the whoopie pies cookbook by Sarah Billingsley and Amy Treadwell salty peanut butter buttercream

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

3/4 cup (6 Tbsp) unsalted butter, at room temperature

3/4 cup (I did 1 1/4 cups) confectioners’ sugar

1/2 tsp salt

cream peanut butter and butter together on low speed until smooth. add confectioners’ sugar and salt and beat on low. increase speed to medium and beat until fluffy, at least 2 minutes (i do 3.5 min)

spread tablespoon size dollop onto a cake and place another cake on top.
