1 1/2 cups brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup sour cream

browned butter frosting

1/4 cup butter

1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

preheat oven to 350 degrees. mix together butter and brown sugar in mixer on medium speed. add eggs one at a time and vanilla and mix well. mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. add in sour cream and mix well.

drop rounded tablespoons of dough on cookie sheet, bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are browned.

over medium heat place butter in sauce pan and continually stir until butter is brown, about 3 minutes. continue stirring to not burn the butter. as soon as butter is brown, in a separate bowl pour over powdered sugar and mix in milk. stir until a glaze is formed.

spread glaze over cooled cookies. if you’re feeling a little bold, top with chopped up bacon!! but only if you’re feeling bold!photo 1[1] (4)
