sloppy seconds

come on, get your mind out of the gutter.oh tacos

i’m talking about food.

but since we’re on the subject and you all have put my mind in the gutter. isn’t this kind of the theme on the bachelor? if you don’t like one, don’t give that hoe a rose and move onto the next?! hmmm do you think i could do this with friends? for example, um i don’t like you, kind of don’t want to talk to you again, no rose for you? poof! and you’re gone?! can we also extend this to some of my clients?! back to the subject at (second) hand, would you kiss a dude knowing that he just made out with like 3 other girls? why did i want to be on this show? they are all seriously sloppy seconds!sloppy seconds

alright, the food i was talking about being sloppy seconds, you’ll just have to wait and see what i really did with it. these tacos are so second rate compared to what’s coming later this week. but you should know me well enough by now that my favorite food is mexican! tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, and don’t even get me started on margaritas and sangria. gosh, those mexicans really know what’s up! so if i have some ground turkey just hangin around you know i’m going to put it in a tortilla, its the only thing i know to do with it.

asian green beans

also i thought i should show you these green beans for hard evidence if i die tomorrow. i’m pretty sure the expiration date of “1/31/13” really should have been “1/31/12” instead. they really didn’t look right, but i was jonesing. and is it weird i ate asian green beans with tacos? whatever that sums up my weeknight meals, weird. this post totally went into a different direction that i had originally anticipated.

that’s my ADD really kickin it right there. i guess it’s not a secret anymore.

so weird, asian green beans

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 lb green beans, clipped and cleaned

salt

pepper

1/4 cup sweet onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic

2 tbsp light soy sauce

heat oil on medium heat. add green beans and a pinch of salt and pepper. cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. add in onions and continue cooking for 5 min. add garlic and soy sauce and cook until most of the soy sauce has cooked off.

sean, don’t mess it up this week, keep my girl desiree!
